Since I posted about benefits of near infrared light last year I have been getting a lot of questions what it does to the skin, where to get it, etc.
The benefits of using near infrared light include increasing blood circulation, reducing wrinkles, crow’s feet, improving overall skin tone, elasticity, clarity and firmness and even your sleep.
Both collagen and elastin increase after exposure to near infrared light.
Near Infrared therapy may not only improve the appearance of acne scarring, but it may actually help reduce acne in the first place. Typical acne is caused by a build-up of oil on the skin, and if you produce a lot of oil, that can lead to constant breakouts. Infrared saunas cause you to sweat from infrared heat – not actual heat – which can help clean out your clogged pores.
